Grady Club Low Country
In the summer of 2005, a small group of Hilton Head area Grady White boat owners met to explore ways to meet and socialize with other Grady boat owners, to enhance their Grady experience and to enjoy the camaraderie of people with similar interests. It was decided that the best mechanism to accomplish this was through the formation of the Low Country Grady Club.
Activities are planned once a month (if not more), all year long. There are day trips, lunch or dinner trips, raft-ups, fishing, socials, educational seminars and holiday parties. We have visited the Grady White Factory, Charleston, Savannah River Street, Daufuskie Island, Beaufort, Grady Fest in Fort Meyers, Florida to name a few of our adventures.
We welcome all size Grady boats. Some members “Buddy Up” on boats to make the events work better for them. Many of our events are “rain or shine” (boat or car) activities so we can still get together to socialize should weather not cooperate. Family, friends and guest are always welcomed.
Whether you’re new to boating or have been on the seas for years, there’s something for everyone in this group. Our diverse backgrounds and knowledge of the waterways around the Low Country is a benefit for all our members.
If you would like more information or to join us for a future event, please respond to the contact information below. We would love to meet you and tell you more about our club.
